ON a overly warm summer day everyone piled into the car to make their way to africa. "I heard that a teddy bear got aten by a wild panther!" Kit gossiped. "I can defeat it! I mean we live with three!" Molly gloated.

"But I heard that there are like 20 there!" Swan circling said nervously.

"It's okay. YOu are going to Philly instead. There are no panthers there!" Samantha said.

"Oh... But I have to spend one night there," Swan Circling said.

"Well I 'm not REALLY scared," Kit said. "WHo would be of some cats?" Samantha glared at kit.

"These arn't cats like Ten. I heard they are all like Bunny And saten!" Samantha said. Everyone shuddered. "But I'll save you Samantha!" Molly said.

"Well of course! You are suposed to be my night in shining armor!" Samantha said. Molly smiled wwith pride. Kit rolled her eyes. And Swan circling stayed scared.

A few hours later the girls arrived at Africa. In just a few minute Mr. Parks told lia and Swan Circling it was time to go to Philly. "Phew! I only had to stay a few moments!" Swan Circlign said. She and lia skipped off to the car.  

Samantha was sitting in her bed cutting a big paper towel to make some small ones. She would bring them home as gifts for clara and Beth.

"Hey sam!" Molly said to Samantha. "I've been on lookout. No cats," Molly reported.

"Really?" Samantha asked puzzled. "I wanted to scar kit..."

"Oh! I'll help you find some!!" Molly said.

"Thanks, but no thanks. You should rest," Samantha said.

Samantha got out form under the blankets and started to pull her shoes on. Molly sat down. "Yo usure you want to go alone?" She asked.

"Totes!" Samantha said as she pulled on her left shoe. "I know I can!"

Molly was still nervouse about samantha going out on her own. She didn't want to scare her girlfriend so she didn't tell her that coconut got her ears all messed up by a panther.

Samantha got up and start ted walking---

"AHH!" She screamed. Samantha saw a huge white panther like thing glaring at her. She tunred and ran all the way back to molly.

"I saw one! Huge! HUGE!" Samantha exlaimed. "I told you so!" Molly cried.

Samantha got back into her bed, pulled the blankets over her head and soon fell asleep.

"Poor girl..." Molly said.

The next day Samantha saw antonio and molly. "How are you today? "Samantha asked. "Fine, I guess..." Antonio said.

"Fine I guess..." Mollly also said. Samantha sighed. A different molly then last night.

Samantha decided she was going to dress extravagantly. She put on her prettiest dress, her socks and shoes, her nicest shoes, a bonnet AND a sun hat. A ribbon around her dress. and a ribbon aroun dher hat. "I'm so pretty I can't be hiding it in here!" Samantha said. "I'm going for a walk Mr. Antonio!" Samanth said. She grabbed her bag and skipped out side and made her wat to a nice oak tree.

"Oh I just ADORE this shade!" She said to herself. She looked around for some one to show off her outfit to. "Hrmph! I got all dacked out and no one cares too look at me!"

She soon spotted kit with these two other girls. "They will like my outfit!" She said. She ran over to the three girls. "Yoo-hoo! Kit!" Samantha callked. Kit looked over. She quickly fixed her hair.

"Hello, kit! Who are your two friends?" Samantha asked. "Oh this is morgan and heather. Heather has a marisol doll!" Kit said. Samantha cringed at the name marisol. "Oh, I'm sorry..." Kit said. "No, It's okay!" Samantha said shaking off. "Hello, miss morgan, and miss heather!" Samantha said. Using miss like she allways did to people. "Hello, Samantha," Heather said. "I allways wanted a Samantha doll," Morgan Said.

"Well me and kit must be on our way!" Samantha said. "But I wanted to meet the base ball players!" Kit whined. "Come on kit!" Samantha called.

"okay..." Kit said. The two crossed the street and made their way back to Mr. Parks' house

The next day they all piled into the car again. This time to go to some stores. The dolls were not allowed to go into the store. So Esme and JoAnn went in to choose Samantha's maid. Not buy her. Just choose her. They swiftly made their way to the doll section. joAnn looked at some party dresses.

Esme looked at the Springfield dolls. "They only have two. One with red hair and green eyes, the other with blonde hair and blue eyes," Esme explained to JoAnn.

"Oh choose me!" 'Stacy' cried. 'NO! Please take me home!" 'Amanda' said.

"I have red hair!" 'Stacy' protested.

"I'm not only pretty, But I'm a hard worker! I was a maid before I came here!" 'Amanda' said.

"SOLD!" Esme said. "Miss blondey you get to be Samantha's maid!"

"Yippy! Are you going to take me home now?" 'Amanda' Said.

"No, I don't have the money. You will have to wait," Esme said.

"Oh..." 'Amanda' said.
